    CLEANING MY LENSES

    1.  Rinse under warm running water to remove any sandy/gritty debris.

    2.  Clean with a mild liquid dishwashing soap to remove facial oils.

    3.  Rinse with water.

    4.  Dry with a soft cotton cloth.

    5.  Polish your lenses with the microfiber Crizal lenses cleaning cloth provided to you.

      You can also use the Crizal lenses cloth for touch-up cleaning throughout the day when it is not convenient to wash your lenses. While the hydrophobic properties of Crizal No-Glare lenses facilitate the removal of smudges, dust, dirt, and fingerprints more easily, the smudges and fingerprints may appear more visible on Crizal No-Glare lenses than on an uncoated lens. Watch a video on how to clean your Crizal lenses.
       

    Occasional use of alcohol on Crizal No-Glare lenses will not be harmful. However, we do not recommend continuous, daily use.

    Most items offered by for sale on JoyLot are available for immediate shipping. On occasions, a product may be oversold or no longer available. We will notify you via email and your card will not be charged.

    International Orders

    We use all the major mail carriers to ship orders including DHL, FedEx, UPS, and the United Postal Service. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer the option to choose a mail carrier.

    In your checkout, we collect International import fees, including Value Added Tax (VAT), customs duties, and brokerage charges. Your package will be delivered to your destination without any additional fees.

    Any refused not accepted packages will result in a deduction of the internation VAT/Duty and shipping both ways fees.

  12. PD, Progressive, and Bifocal Measurements: Height Placement and Fitting

    How do I measure my own Segment Height?

    If you would like to measure your own segment height then you will need to have the frame in hand, because you can only measure it while the glasses are on your face. You can either purchase the frame without lenses first and then send them back to have lenses put in after the segment height has been measured. Or if you have already received your glasses and feel the segment height is not correct, you can use the frames you already have.

    For No Line Progressive Lenses

    1. Put the glasses on your face and adjust them so that they sit comfortably.

    2. Have someone assist you by marking the lenses or Stand about 8 inches (20 cm) away from a well-lit mirror with your face parallel and square to the mirror.

    3. Stare straight ahead and mark the center of your pupil. This is your segment height measurement for these frames.

    4. Repeat these steps at least 3 to 5 times to get an accurate and consistent measurement.

    For Lined Bifocal Lenses

    1. Put the glasses on your face and adjust them so that they sit comfortably.

    2. Have someone assist you by marking the lenses or Stand about 8 inches (20 cm) away from a well-lit mirror with your face parallel and square to the mirror.

  15. Pupil Distance PD

    PD or Pupillary Distance, is the distance in between the center one pupil to the center of the other pupil. The PD is measured in millimeters (mm) and can also be written in this form: 35/34 ( Normally done if one eye is a little further away than the other from the center of the nose ).

    You need to have a friend hold a ruler across the bridge of your nose upside down ( so you can read the millimeter measurement ) It is much easier if you have someone about the same height as you. The measurer will hold the ruler in their left hand, close their left eye. They would then open their right eye and line the beginning of the ruler with the center of the left pupil. Then close your right eye and open the left eye and read the center of the right eye without moving the ruler.

    JoyLot Rapid is a free shipping service from JoyLot.com, that gets your products to you faster than ever before. We now offer free JoyLot Rapid shipping on select products to eligible US states. Eligible items will display the shipping time to your shipping state which can take between 1-3 business days and delivered by the end of the day.

    Orders must be placed before 2:00 pm EST in order to ship the same day.  This service is available on selected items with the Rapid service icon. JoyLot Rapid delivery is only available on business days and excludes major holidays. Order received by 2:00 pm EST is required to pass our payment verification system for same-day shipping. For orders that have not passed our payment verification system by the cut off time, will be processed on the following day with the JoyLot Rapid shipping service.

    Exchanging

    We cannot reserve items for an exchange. If you are like to exchange your order, you will need to reorder the new item and upon receipt of your return, a refund will be issued

    Return Policy

    In order for JoyLot to provide free delivery and low prices, Customer is responsible to pay for the return shipping of the item(s) being returned. You have the option to print a prepaid return label and the shipping fee will be deducted from you order refund.

    You may return new items sold and shipped within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. JoyLot will even cover the shipping cost if the return is the result of our error or if you have received an incorrect item.

    We'll cover the return shipping for items listed with the free return badge. If you purchased an item that is eligible for free returns and the free return is listed for that item on your invoice. You may return the item within 30 days by printing the free return shipping label that will be provided to you in your Joylot account. 

    Return refunds are processed daily and can take up to 3 days after receipt of your return. Every return is subject to inspection, we'll notify you via e-mail once we have completed your return process. Please allow up to one billing cycle to appear on your credit card statement.

    All refunds will be credited to the original payment used to place your order.

    Extended Holiday Return Policy

    For items purchased between November 1 and December 31, the deadline to return them is extended until January 31. (excluding unreturnable final sale items)
     

    Prescription Custom Lenses Return Policy.
     

    Prescription lenses, reading power lenses, or custom fashion lenses, are customized to customers special order and are eligible for a 50% refund.

    Any frames in new, unused, un-worn condition returned within 30 days of delivery will be refunded, ecxept for any customized lenses. To have the custom lenses sent back to the customer,  there will be a one time $14.95 shipping and handeling fee.

    If a request is not made within 30 days, JoyLot does not take responsibility for the custom lenses to be sent back to the customer.

    Prescription RX Order cancelation request

    RX Orders can be canceled within 3 hours of the original order time.

    After the 3 hours cancelation window. The lenses are ordered from the maniufacturer and any request to cancel your prescription lenses, reading power lenses, or custom fashion lenses, there will be a 50% cancelation fee for the lenses only.

    Contact Lenses Return Policy

    We offer a simple hassle-free, no-questions-asked 30-Day return policy on all brand-new unopened, unused contacts. For the return of Contacts Lenses, there is a $9.95 shipping fee adjustment from the order total.

    Doctor change of prescription or blurry vision

    If you are experiencing blurry vision and your doctor prescribed a new RX, As a one time courtesy and a $14.95 processing fee, Joylot will remake a new set of lenses within 60 days from the date of delivery. A prepaid return label will be provided.

    If you are experiencing blurry vision due to the fitting of the glasses received, As a one time courtesy JoyLot will remake a new set of lenses at no charge within 60 days from the date of delivery.

    If we already remade your lenses for any reason including blurry vision or a Dr change. There will be a full charge to remake a new set of lenses.

    Upgrade lens options or change frame option

    For single vision within 30-days we offer a one-time lens upgrade or frame change option. 50% value for your original lenses and a $14.95 processing fee will be applied to redo your new set of lenses. 

    For progressive vision within 60-days we offer a one-time lens upgrade or frame change option. 50% value for your original lenses and a $14.95 processing fee will be applied to redo your new set of lenses. 

    If changing to an identical frame model and size and just transfering the same lenses. There is no need to remake the lenses, however a $14.95 processing fee applies to have the lenses transfered by our lab.

    A prepaid return label will be provided.

    To do a frame change, the frame must be in brand new unused unworn condinition and must include all booklets, inner case, outer case, and authenticity cards.

    Non Returnable Items and Returns of Opened or Over 30 Days

    Items returned over 30 days from date of delivery date by the shipping carrier are non returnable and if approved a restocking fee of 50% will be deducted from your refund total. Over 30 days unapproved returns may subject to a shipping fee in order for us to ship the package back.

    Non refundable items are:

    • Any product missing the serial number or UPC

    • Any items not in its original condition damaged, or missing parts not due to our error.

    • Items not in its original packaging or missing booklets or instruction books.

    • Items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases

    Glasses Production Timetable

    We know how excited you are to receive your new prescription order. It is our priority to complete and ship your order as quickly as possible. As we offer you a variety of the best-quality lenses and coatings to choose from timing is a key.

    Our lab is equipped with the latest cutting-edge technology and all our orders must meet pass our final inspection prior to shipping your order.

    Depending on the production time and chosen shipping method at checkout, the estimated delivery time may vary.

    Our team will keep you informed every step of the way and ensure that you receive your new glasses as quickly as possible.

    Please note the following for production time.

    • To keep our employees safe, incase of severe weather conditions, the production time may be extended if necessary.

    Damaged or defective Items

    If you have received a damaged or defective item, we recommend contacting the manufacturer to see if they can help with the replacement shipped directly to you. If the manufacturer cannot provide help with your order. Simply contact us with your order number so that we will arrange to have your order replaced or refunded upon receipt to your account.

    Frames Manufacturer Warranty

    All sunglasses and eyeglasses frames come with a manufacturer warranty for 1 Year (unless specified otherwise) from the date of purchase against any manufacturer’s defects. Manufacturer's defects include material, workmanship, structural design, hinges, welding points, and colorings. Manufacturer’s defects DO NOT include damage resulting from wear and tear flagrant misuse causing frame damage, acts of nature, improper use of maintenance, scratching, or tarnish, pet damage, destruction or damage by vehicle, stepping on or sitting on the frame, bending or twisting the frame, repairs and alterations, or any other damage not considered a manufacturing flaw.

    (The warranty will be voided if the serial number is altered, scraped, or does not match our records.)

    For the initial 30 days of warranty, we will cover all shipping and return. After 30 days, A $14.95 shipping and handling fee must be paid by the customer to cover the replacement warranty. This fee is to cover the return and reshipping costs. (Please note that we do not benefit from this charge however we are doing it as a courtesy to our valued customers. You may also choose to contact the manufacturer directly.

    Defective frames must be sent to us for inspection and manufacturer approval, the manufacturer cannot use a picure or videos to make a decision. In cases of approval by the manufacturer and if the warranty frame is discontinued (no longer manufactured), the frame will be replaced with another color or a different model of equal or lesser value. You will be contacted in this situations. If a different model or style was provided and we filled in your fashion or prescription lenses where you still have the JoyLot one time un-used Lens Warranty & Specs-360 guarantee in accordance to our (Lens Warranty & Specs-360 Lenses Warranty policy), we will remake the lenses for your new set of glasses shape that was provided by the manufacturer only. You will still responsible for the lens warranty redo processing fee.

    We do not take responsibility to remake your lenses if they have been made elsewhere.

    If for any reason the manufacturer discovers that the damage is not a manufacturer defect, we will contact you and the return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

    The manufacturer warranty is decided by the manufacturer and not by JoyLot staff. Therefor if for any reason the manufacturer rejects the warranty of your frames we will inform you, and you may contact the manufacturer directly. 

    JoyLot will help you with a manufacturer defect up to one instance for the same frame. Beyond that you may contact the manufacturer directly.

    If you just purchased the frames from us and had another retailer mount custom or Rx lenses for you. Please remove the lenses prior to sending your frames for a warranty. We do not take responsibility or remount lenses made from another reatilaer. If glasses were shipped to us with mounted lenses not originally made by JoyLot, a $14.95 S/H fee will apply for us to send the original glasses back to you, in order to have your optician remove the lenses.

    Please be advised that all shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer, including any taxes and duties incurred with international packages.

    (Upon approval of frames warranty a case will not be provided.)

    Lens Warranty & Specs-360 Lenses Warranty

    Lenses Warranty: If you have purchased any of our anti-relective coatings which includes A lens coatings and or Specs-360 warranty, the following terms apply.

    There is a processing fee of $14.95 and JoyLot will provide you with a prepaid return label.

    Warranty applies on fully functional frames. Lenses will not be mounted on frames that are taped, bent, glued, and or soldered

    Anti Reflective / Anti Glare  Lenses Redo Warranty:

    • A one-time lens replacement is covered no matter the condition of your lenses from the original date of shipment
    • Original lenses must be returned before our lab will start working on your new set of lenses
    • Your lenses will be covered even if scratched, peeled, broken, shattered, and or chipped
    • Lens warranty is covered for the exact same prescription 
    • Lens warranty is covered for the same exact frame model/shape/size
    • Lens features cannot be modified from the original order 

    Specs-360 Prescription Change Lenses Warranty:

    • A one-time lens prescription change is covered when you purchased our Anti Glare lens warranty package
    • New valid RX must be issued to the same patient name
    • New lens will be made to the same exact frame model/shape/size
    • New lenses will be made in the same lens material and index of your original order
    • Lens features cannot be modified from the original order 
    • Lenses will be made for the same RX type as on your original order
    • Original lenses must be returned before our lab will start working on your new set of lenses

    Lens warranty is based on the AR/Anti Glare pacage you've purchased with your lenses. Please reffer to your order details where you will find the lens warranty package. 

    Logo on Lenses and Logo Engraving

    When you see a logo engraved or stamped on the demo lenses. That is the logo that was stamped by the brand owner and when placing an order for prescription or fashion lenses, the logo add on option is available for an extra charge and is non refundable.

    Missing items within your order

    JoyLot may split orders and ship your items in multiple orders. Check the packing slip that was included in your order to match the items received with the packing slip. If an item ordered was not received with your shipment allow a few days for an additional shipment to arrive to fulfill your order. If an additional package or an e-mail notification was not received please feel free to contact us with your order number so that we will look into your order.

    Packing & Sending Your Return
    1. Pack your order safely including all original packaging and manuals.

    2. You may reuse the box your item arrived in or you may use your own packagings. Include the packing slip inside the box and tape it safely. (do not tape the original packaging of the item or the item itself)

    3. If you are using JoyLot shipping label affix the shipping label on the outside of the box and arrange for the shipping carrier to pick up, or take it to the post office or shipping center.

    4. If a shipping label was not provided we recommend shipping your return via track-able insured method.

    Re-lens options and sending your own glasses shipping insurance

    When sending your own glasses and for a frame Re-lens, Upon providing you with a return labe to send in your glasses, you will need to enter the replacement value for your glasses. In case your glasses are lost in transit when being shipped to us or if when we ship the complete glasses to you. In order for us to file an insurance calim, a valid verifiable receipt may be required upon request so insurance claim can be processed.

    Unless a proof validated receipt is provided we will not be able to process a lost claim with the shipping carrier.

    Restocking Fees on Certain Items

    Certain items sold and fulfilled by JoyLot are subject to a restocking fee and restocking fees may vary. The restocking fees for certain items are as follow.

    Return Address

    Every return process is required an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) which will include the address to ship your return and all details associated with your order return request.

    Obtaining a return authorization can be done via the following.

    1. Login to your account and locate your order to process your return request and print a prepaid return label.

    2. For guest checkout purchases, click on the Return link on top right or if you are using a mobile device you can locate the Return button on the bottom footer.

    Shipping Fees Refund

    Shipping fees paid when placing your order are non-refundable. If you return an item(s) from an order received Free shipping, the original shipping saved associated with the return will be deducted from the refund amount.

    To return your order using our printed postage-paid label or a shipping label issued by customer service, the cost of the shipping fees will be deducted from your refund. If you will cover the shipping cost to send back the package to JoyLot, the shipping fees are non-refundable.

    If an item is shipped and returned because it is not deliverable due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for shipping both ways. Orders for larger items that must ship freight require the shipping company to contact the customer prior to delivery. If the product is returned because the freight company could not reach the customer, this will be considered a return, and the order will be subject to our regular return policies.

    Tint and lens color customization

    If you customize your eyewear, your order will arrive with the customized lenses already mounted. The customized lenses are made in the USA, and do not feature the brand name on the lens. As they are handcrafted by skilled artisan, slight colour variations from the preview may occur. The color intensity is the result of an artisans process that makes each pair of lenses unique: even when selecting the darkest option, complete eye coverage from external view cannot be guaranteed.

    Wrong or unordered item

    We suggest confirming your order by checking your account and the packing list for the model number and any other details that do not match your order. Upon confirming your order please contact us via e-mail or phone with your order number.

    Wrong Order or Missing Parts

    Simply contact our customer service team via email or by calling us and we will be happy to asdsist you.

  19. Submit Your Offer

    Items listed with the Make Your Offer option, allows you to offer a lower price on the item listed. If accepted you will have the option to buy the item and pay the accepted offer price.

    JoyLot is an authorized internet dealer for many designer brands. Some suppliers request from us not to display an item if it drops below a certain price. Some retail stores may also display a price, and you may ask the salesperson for a lower or on-sale price. At JoyLot, you can click on the submit your offer price to buy the item at a lower offered price.

    If you have already added the item to your cart for the full price, click on the My Cart button and delete the item from your cart. Once the item is removed from the cart you can make your offer and if your offer is accepted you will be able to continue with the checkout process.

    To Make Your Offer, you are required to be a JoyLot.com, registered member. To become a JoyLot registered member, only the following is required, email, user-name and a password.

    The lens index refers to the index of refraction (otherwise known as refractive index) of lens material for eyewear. It is a relative measurement number that describes how efficiently the material bends light.

    Prescription glasses with a higher lens index will have thinner lenses.
