Squashed hat (Regina)

Hat squashed in box
The hat was packed in a box that was much smaller than the hat, so that the crown was pushed down and the brim pushed up. The brim being bent upwards is not a severe problem as several days of putting weights on it has begun to flatten it. The crown being pushed down has changed the shape and size of the hat as the downward pressure pushed out the sides giving it a distorted, circular shape and has changed it to a much larger size. I'm trying to put weights against the sides of the crown to push it back up with limited success after four days. Not impressed.
The hat itself is not a problem, but I don't recommend buying it from this vendor who have pretty much ruined it through very poor packaging. The box was not squashed or damaged in transit--it was too small for the hat.
